Kimberli Reimer


Ms. Reimer joined FBRC in 1993 as the Director of Finance.  As the organization grew, the position was changed to Chief Financial Officer.   Her background includes a BBA in Accounting from Sam Houston State University and over 30 years of experience in audit, not-for-profit and government accounting disciplines.

Laura Jenkins

Director of Program Compliance

Laura brings 28 years of experience in substance abuse counseling, prevention, treatment, grant writing, program development and management to FBRC. She is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and a Certified Prevention Specialist. Laura has been with the Council since 1999.

Keith Martin

Treatment Program Director

Keith began his work in the field of substance abuse in the early 1990’s and has continued to grow in his knowledge and understanding of the chemical dependent client. Moving from the Austin area, Keith connected with FBRC in 2003 where he has worked in multiple capacities within the treatment department as well as a Youth Prevention Counselor at Foster High School. With the combined knowledge of the programs at FBRC and 20 years of experience in the field, Keith now serves as the Treatment Department’s Program Director.

Lindsey Knight

Office Manager

Lindsey is a born and raised Texan that has spent the past decade as manager over both FBRC office locations. When she’s not running payroll or solving the latest coffee shortage crisis at the office, she works hard at her most important job as mother to Cameron and Maxwell and wife to her high school sweetheart, Casey.  Lindsey named her daughter, Cameron, after her brother – a Marine veteran who served during Operation Iraqi Freedom. She strongly believes in FBRC’s mission and that education is key to dispelling many stigmas associated with alcoholism and addiction.  It’s not a choice individuals make, it’s a disease you manage.

Rashan Carter

Counselor, Drug Court

Rashan is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana – a place she endearingly refers to as “her home.”  She began her career working with children, youth and families as a Social Worker for the Office of Community Services in Harahan, Louisiana.  Rashan holds a B.A. in Sociology, and Master’s Degrees in both Social Work and Public Administration.  Her work is truly her passion, and allows that to drive her purpose.

Thedie Green

Youth Prevention Counselor

Thedie graduated from Texas A&M University (whoop!) with a degree in Business, but soon realized she had a passion for the helping professions.  She went back to school and became a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and has worked in this field for 15 years.  She enjoys working with adults, teens and families as well as the prevention work she is currently doing in local elementary schools.  When not working, she loves spending time with her family, especially hanging out with her two children!

David Griffin

Youth Prevention Counselor

As a Youth Prevention Counselor, David is right in his element helping middle, junior high and high school students overcome personal challenges that they may encounter.  A product of the Fort Bend Independent School District, David right at home serving children in the neighborhoods her grew up in.  His goal is to inspire young boys and girls to overcome the illegitimate influences and definitions of young adulthood that they have been accustomed to or influenced by. When not in the classroom, David loves to attend the sporting events of schools in the district.

Laura Jones

Youth Prevention Counselor

Laura holds degrees from the University of Texas at Austin (BA, Psychology) and Texas State University – San Marcos (MA, Professional Counseling).  She has worked with at-risk youth in a variety of community and non-profit settings since 2002, and enjoys getting to go into the schools and do prevention work for her job with FBRC.  When not working, Laura enjoys traveling and attempting the various recipes and art projects from her Pinterest boards.

Frank Perkins

Youth Prevention Counselor

Frank has worked with children and teenagers for the past 11 years.  He has a great love and compassion for youth and people in general. He volunteers with many charity groups and organizations outside of work to encourage, strengthen, and educate future generations and involving communities in their lives.

Sakinah McQuillon

Youth Prevention Counselor

Sakinah Shaw has worked for FBRC for 10 years as a Youth Prevention Counselor in elementary schools across Fort Bend Country.  She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Houston and is currently working on her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing at the University of Houston-Victoria.  Swing dancing and Praise Dancing are her two loves!
